A newly purpose-built day facility

Recognising a lack of facilities for people living with a disability in the northern suburbs of Adelaide, we decided in 2021 to create a facility that would accommodate our people's many needs and requirements.

The location at Modbury was an aged care facility that had fallen into disrepair. We designed, rebuilt and created a facility specifically to provide a comfortable space giving residents as much of a home-like experience as possible. The resulting centre is one where the community can gather comfortably, socialise, find common interests, and participate in engaging activities. The centre is fully staffed every weekday from 9-5 pm and features entertaining NDIS programs daily for people ages 7-17. We love witnessing the development of skills enjoyed by the people who participate in our programs.

Wide choice of accommodation options

We have residential care houses in the greater community with short-term, medium-term and long-term options. Our hub in Modbury, being purpose-built, means we have designed them to exceed modern standards and incorporate universal access facilities, specially designed ensuites and assistive technology to facilitate easy movement and comfort.

We've taken into consideration different sensory and cognitive needs and are pleased to be able to incorporate lighting design and contextual cues to make the spaces widely accessible.

Empowered development through social and community involvement

Alongside our day facility, we offer a wide range of options to enhance the lives of the people we work with. Social support is a vital part of the services we provide, and our teams' combined breadth of experience means we have designed programs specifically with you in mind. In addition to our purpose-built day centre, we offer day trips to exciting locations like Monarto Safari Park, Victor Harbor, and the Adelaide Zoo. Our tours occur in a supported environment, providing opportunities for shared experiences and enjoyment.
